The Staywell Aluminium Pet Door

Staywell 600 series - Small

Staywell Catflap

The Staywell Aluminium Pet Doors have aluminium frames with a slide-in steel locking barrier panel for the interior side of the pet door to secure the door shut. The flap is flexible with a slide on magnetic strip at the bottom, it has a light blue tint to it and is made to be UV resistant.

Dimensions:

  • Overall size: 299mm x 202mm (11 3/4 x 7 15/16″)
  • Cut out size: 245mm x 150mm (9 5/8″ x 5 7/8″)
  • Maximum pet shoulder width: 132mm (5 3/16″)

I have one of these pet doors and I am very happy will it. Being flexible the cats can rush through without hurting themselves. It isn’t as noisy as rigid plastic catflaps which to me is a major consideration with three cats.

Sureflap Microchip Cat Flap

NO MORE UNWANTED VISITORS!

SureFlap cat flaps recognise the ID chip already implanted in your cat, allowing access to your pet and making unwanted visitors a thing of the past. Your home becomes a secure environment for your pet, leading to a happier, more relaxed animal.

No need for a collar or tag which can get lost or even worse caught on branches, etc.

Once the unit is installed and the batteries put in place, the flap can be put into learn mode. The next time your cat passes through the flap, the unique ID code of its chip is put into memory. Now SureFlap unlocks whenever your cat wants to come into the house. Up to 32 cats can be programmed into the flap at the same time.

There is also a 4-way manual lock that allows you to lock the door in any combination of in/out. For example vet mode allows your cat to enter the house but keeps him inside for the next trip to the vet.

Cat Things

Babe

Babe Cattykins (aged 3 months)

I am the owner of three very different cats, Danny Mittens a black polydactyl, Stole an elderly tuxedo cat, and Babe Cattykins a young black and white cat. I am at their beck and call, day and night and their welfare is of prime concern. If you adore your cats your cats will adore you.

I like to keep my cats happy because they bring so much joy into my life. Trying different foods, bedding, scratching posts and toys. To be honest they would probably be happy with cardboard boxes and bits of screwed up paper, but I don’t really want the litter permanently in my living room. So I buy catnip toys, things on strings, things to climb, and things to sleep in.

My cats are outdoorsy, so I am constantly letting them in, letting them out, in, out, in, out, etc. So the next cat things that I need for my sanity are catflaps. It isn’t so bad just now while the weather is warm and the doors and windows can be left open but it is a project that I intend to work on before the cold weather sets in. Cats can cause frustration at times but they make me smile and laugh every day which makes it all worthwhile.
