Christmas Gifts For Cats

Jazzy Catnip Mice

Jazzy Catnip Mice

There aren’t many shopping days left until Christmas and if you haven’t got your cat presents yet you’d better hurry.

I’ve put together a selection of cat gifts in the Cat Things Amazon eStore. The benefit with Amazon is usually quick delivery for in-stock items.  Many products have reviews to help you decide whether or not to buy. There are all sorts of toys for cats to suit all budgets, and if your can’t afford anything why not just wrap up an empty cardboard box for your little dears. They will love helping you rip up the paper and if your cats are like mine then a cardboard will be more than welcome.

Turbo Track Cat Toy

Turbo Track Cat Toy

The Bergan Turbo Track Cat Toy has good reviews – it appears to be or ball in a track that they can chase around. I am not sure if my three cats would like it as they seem to like real mice best of all, but they with have to ask Santa Catz for those.

Festive Horror Story

More festive fun…

I’ve put my cat Stole in this video nasty for Christmas – it seems to suit her character more than the other cats, she can be nasty when she feels like it.

Cat Clothes

Cat's Collar and Tie

Cat in Collar and Tie

Some poor cats will be wearing their Christmas gifts this year as more cat outfits become available.

Many will probably only be on the cat long enough for the photographs (but who can resist). You can put a hat on a cat but you cannot make it wear it.

Cat outfits are more for the amusement of their owners and many of us have been guilty, only you’d better be quick with the camera. Have you ever tried to get a wriggling cat to wear a Santa hat while you take a photograph?

Novelty Cat Lounger

Novelty Flower Lounger

Novelty Flower Lounger

This unusual Spider Flower Lounger really makes a statement. It can be placed either way up, the center is padded on both sides with thermal liner for your cat’s comfort. The smaller petals are 6”x 6” and the larger petals are six 6” x 12”. By reversing the Spider you give your cat a varying sized play area under the unit and cats love to crawl underneath. You should be able to tell by the level of cat activity which way your cat prefers to have it sitting, but you can turn it over now and then for a different “look and feel”.

The molded leaves are designed to “flex” which cushions the landing and prevents excessive wear and tear on joints, especially of older cats, when they jump onto the lounger. As it is lower than most cat trees it is ideal for older cats and also for kittens as they are starting to explore their world.

  • Approximate Height: 16″ (1ft 4in)
  • Approximate Width: 27″
  • Weight: 25 lbs

Paw Prints Plaque

Paw Prints Plaque

Paw Prints Plaque

This paw prints plaque is lovely and should appeal to any cat lovers but it is especially poignant as a memorial to a much missed pet.

  • Proudly made in the USA of cast stone
  • Dimensions: 9.5 x 14.5
  • Weight: 8 lbs
  • Includes a hanger cast into the back to allow for easy display on walls, fences, or outbuildings.

It has a sentiment I can certainly agree with – “Cats leave paw prints on our hearts”.
